Supporting your dog's training and development with enrichment focused daycare.

Our Concept

At Wild Tails, we believe daycare should do more than simply keep dogs busy. Our program is built around a thoughtful balance of exercise, socialization, mental stimulation, and rest to create happier, healthier, and more fulfilled dogs.

Using our 5 Pillars of Enrichment, we intentionally plan each day to support the whole dog—not just tire them out. By balancing activity with opportunities to learn, explore, and decompress, we help dogs develop confidence, healthy social skills, and emotional balance.

Our goal is simple: to send dogs home fulfilled, not overstimulated.

                               The 5 Pillars of Enrichment

🐾 1. Physical Enrichment

Purposeful movement and exercise that build confidence, coordination, and healthy energy outlets.

🧠 2. Mental Enrichment

Problem-solving, learning, and activities that engage the mind and prevent boredom.

🐕 3. Social Enrichment

Thoughtfully managed interactions that encourage healthy play and positive social skills.

🌿 4. Sensory Enrichment

Opportunities to explore new scents, textures, environments, and experiences that promote curiosity and confidence.

💤 4. Calm & Emotional Enrichment

Structured rest and decompression that help prevent overstimulation and support emotional wellbeing.

Why It Matters

Our enrichment-based approach helps dogs:

  • Develop confidence and resilience

  • Improve social skills

  • Experience healthy physical and mental stimulation

  • Prevent boredom and overstimulation

  • Learn to balance activity with relaxation

  • Go home happier, calmer, and more fulfilled

We offer Fully Supervised play time with other dogs, interactive play time with people, scheduled dog and age appropriate physical exercise, Learning time intervals using positive science based learning methods and relaxation times.

The Schedule will allow for average 40-45 minutes of play/learning/enrichment time, with 40-45 minutes of rest in a crate followed by another round of play/learning/enrichment etc throughout your dogs stay. Rotation also allows for us to select groupings of dogs best suited to each other in energy and interactions.

Look on our social media pages for our monthly calendar of enrichment activities and events!
